Note from the Secretary

There is so much going on at the Club!  The Sportsmen's Dinner is fast approaching.  Tickets are available at the bar.  Remember -- we only have 120 tickets -- don't wait to buy your ticket or you could be disappointed.
The Super Bowl party went well.  What a terrific game.  The parade through Boston and rally at City Hall Plaza was unbelievable.  It's something I will never forget.
I am happy to let you know that we are close to having a web site for the Club.  Bob Alpert is working to set this up for us.  How exciting.  We will be posting the monthly newsletter on the web site along with other interesting and timely information.  I'll keep you posted on its progress.  Over the next few months I would like to hear from you about this new development.  Do you have access to a computer?  Will you be able to read the newsletter on the web?
Fishing season is around the corner!!! Fishing dates have been set.  Come up and enjoy your Club.

CRIBBAGE NEWS

CRIBBAGE TOURNAMENT STATUS

The Cribbage Tournament at the Club has reached the half way point.  The co-leaders at this point are Linda Bregoli and Bill Hopkins, both with 30 points.  We have 17 players signed up and participating in this years' event.  Friday nights are bustling with fun and good-natured competition with the resurgence of this activity at the Club through the winter months.  We will be orchestrating an inter club competition with the Musketaquid Club of Concord over the next few weeks for bragging rights as to who has the "best" cribbage players amongst the two sportsman's organizations in town.  We have our playing skills sharpened and are ready for the challenge.
